The Taste of Allagash in the Summer

$250.00

Unframed Original 8”x8” watercolor painting on Strathmore paper.

Amanda has always loved strawberries for as long as she can remember. In northern Maine, where she grew up, wild raspberries were easy to find, but strawberries were scarce, and all the more precious because of it. Their deep reds, soft greens, and tiny white flowers have stayed with her. This series is a reflection on childhood summers in the 1990s, exploring the Northern Maine woods with a sense of freedom and wonder.
